The #ULTRALEICHTBAUSITZ is the result of an innovative partner project of the initiators Alba tooling & engineering, csi development technology and AMC as well as the partner companies 3D Core, Hofmann, Covestro and LBK.
The vehicle seat concept was completely redesigned. The finished prototype is weighing around ten kilograms, which is about 20 percent lower than the competitor's products.
The prize was awarded in the category »Excellence in Business to Business, Automotive Technologies << at the Deutsches Technikum Museum in Berlin.
The German Innovation Award honors products and solutions across all industries, which are distinguished above all by user centering and added value compared to previous solutions.
