In the case of flexible polyurethane foam products, it is necessary to break up the foam cells after demolding. Only by opening the cell structures via crushers, the components can obtain their optimum properties. Especially in the production of large foam parts, e.g. seat foam parts for the automotive industry, construction industry or furniture industry, the impregnation process is absolutely necessary after demolding to obtain a permanently elastic foam part.
