Edge Casting Systems
Our edge casting systems are used to produce robust and visually appealing door or furniture edges. Moulding the edge creates a sealed surface and, above all, an inseparable bond with the blank and the surface material.
Areas of application
Edge sealing systems protect door and furniture edges.
Edge casting is used particularly frequently for hospital and laboratory furniture (high chemical resistance), wooden furniture (impact resistance) and furniture and doors in public transport vehicles (flame-retardant properties).

Edge sealing systems protect door and furniture edges. They offer very good durability thanks to high UV stability, high chemical resistance and high impact resistance. Thanks to an almost endless choice of colours, edges can be used as decorative elements in addition to their protective function.
Alba has polyurethane moulding technologies that make it possible to produce a wide variety of edgeband profiles, such as table edges.
