Vacuum laminating tools usually consist of a hard, contour-milled sub-mould, an upper mold that consist of components that assist the foil to form to the part shape, a clamping frame, and additional punching contour blades. The raw support to be laminated and the décor are connected under a vacuum. The adhesive activation takes place via a beam field usually acting on both sides of the film before forming.
