Prefixing tools at Alba

In its basic structure, a prefixing tool consists of a dimensionally stable support part holder with mechanical or automatic component fixing. Depending on the requirements and component design, swivelling seam blades and positioning aids are used to ensure that the decoration is reliably placed and positioned. The actual prefixing then takes place via a partial heat input.

Laminated parts that require documentation and are safety-relevant are aligned precisely and reproducibly using special positioning aids (templates, gauges, lasers, etc.). Depending on the requirements, the required data is recorded and documented using various image processing systems.
